We hope this helps those of you who get up early each morning.

The bar- lounge will still open one hour prior at 6:00p.m. if you would like to come early an enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail before your

reservation.

To meet the challenges of this coming year we have teamed with Fishbowl an e-mail company. Our e-mails will have a personal look, also when you submit your address you can enter your birthday & anniversary date if you would like to receive a reminder of those important dates!

The purpose of the e-mail is for us to reach out and inform you of special events such as wine tasting’s, no-corkage nights and special events. Much faster than snail mail!!    

Zagat has rated for the sixth-consecutive year The Hobbit number one in service, 28 points the highest rating for Orange and L.A. County.

 In addition, our food  @ 27 points, the best of the best in Orange County.

We would like to thank our staff, the chefs in the kitchen and the wait staff in the dinning room for making this possible, and for your support.  

 The Wine Cellar here at The Hobbit has always been a fun part of your

dining experience while spending the evening with us.  We continue to strive to bring you classic selections of wine as well as new and interesting choices.  Our cellar again and for many years has received the Wine Spectator’s Best Award of Excellence!

Frequently asked questions.

How far in advance do I need to make reservations? 

Please call anytime to make your reservations, we are usually able to accommodate your date or help you select another.  Also unanticipated cancellations mean there is often a last-minute table available for you, so do not hesitate to call and check with Sandy at the reservation desk.

Reservation Cancellations.

Reservations at The Hobbit are like having tickets to an entertainment or sporting event.  You are guaranteed a table for our one seating the night of your reservation.

Some parties require a deposit with a credit card and the balance will be charged the night of the dinner. 

Special dietary needs.

Let us know of any allergies or dietary needs when booking your reservation.  Please keep in mind that we prepare a 7 course prix-fixe menu, but with advance notice the chefs can make substitutions.
